Hon. Alan Bird. East Sepik Governor
Great respect and appreciation for Honorable Governor Alan Bird aka BIKPLA PISIN who has shown remarkable leadership so far since being elected. Credit to the people of East Sepik for electing and giving PNG one of the best critical and decision maker.
I’d like to commend ESP governor for his transparency in his decision making and his work as the governor. The people have the right to know Why, What and How and you have undoubtedly serve them justly on that. Hence, winning the trust of your people. That is what a honest dedicated leader should be. A leader that doesn’t speak only for the people but shows that he is for the people (Just like in Sepik we don’t just say thank you, we do thank you). Doing everything for the greater good and the for the best interests of ESP and PNG.
I admire the respect Governor Bird shows towards the grand chief and all the references and credits that he gave to the old man. Thus, What’s reflect from him are the true spirit and moral principle values of Sepik. The ‘MANDE JAVA’ system. Learning from the wiser. Like a Java who sits humbly with utmost respect at his Mande’s feet and learn from the tales and principles of maintaining the turf boundaries, society affairs and teachings of moral self esteem. Building beneficial ties with the surrounding societies, forging unshakable integrity and self worth. Treasuring the values of the society and its reputations. Taim blong holim spear lo fight na time blong brukim spear. Time for hunt, feast or prepare…. Time to observe, wait and execute. Time to keep calm or show aggression and the art of interpreting the signs of time.
Nevertheless, The great Bird has and is displaying what I can only describe as ‘THE NEXT SOMARE’. For he will remained in the ESP Governor seat for a very long time like the Grand Chief and there are wondrous things approaching his reign. I state this, because the people of ESP don’t make mistakes in electing the Governor post. WE MADE THE FIRST PM AND THE FOUNDER OF THIS NATION AND WE’RE SENDING HIS NEWER VERSION WITH UPGRADES.
